Role Summary
As an SDET at Zluri, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform. Given the demanding requirements of identity governance and compliance, our services must maintain the highest standards of accuracy and reliability. You will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive test automation strategies while maintaining a rapid development pace. This role requires technical excellence, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Strategy

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs
  • Create and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
  • Build robust test automation for complex features and business workflows
  • Develop efficient test data preparation and management strategies

Quality Assurance

  • Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential issues
  • Conduct thorough integration and regression testing
  • Execute performance and load testing to ensure scalability
  • Validate data accuracy and integrity through database testing

Collaboration & Process

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure the testability of new features
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability
  • Participate in design and product planning sessions
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and maintenance
  • Document test plans, test cases, and testing best practices
Qualification and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in software testing and test automation
  • Proven experience in:
    1. Web application automation testing
    2. API automation and testing
    3. Working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
    4. CI/CD environments and DevOps practices
Required Skills:

Technical Skills

Core Testing Skills:
  • Strong expertise in SQL and database testing for data validation
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools:
    • Web Automation: Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or similar
    • API Testing: REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent frameworks
    • Performance Testing: JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Github Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
Programming Languages:
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar)

Soft Skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, agile environments
  • Detail-oriented with a quality-first mindset
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptability to handle unstructured requirements and changing priorities
Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) concepts
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
